HOW MUCH LONGER CAN THIS UMMAH WAIT?!
Salam Alaikum dear brothers and sisters... May this find you in the best of health and imaan.
Our mothers are raped, our children are slaughtered, our resources plundered. There seems to be no end to the tyranny of our rulers and the betrayals of the "Muslim" Makhabaraat. The state of this Ummah is one that should concern us and have us worried day and night.
This video seeks to bring your urgent attention to something that every Muslim possible should watch - an amazing video; gut wrenching and poignant in nature, a reminder like few others you will ever recieve, and something that should help us all wake from our individual slumbers and strive to achieve not just the pleasure of Allah on an individualistic level, but do something for the sake of our Brothers and sisters.

May Allah return us to the glory of the Khilafah, something also addressed in this video.

Aww, that's posted here too sobhanalah.
Just yesterday there was a tv program on MBC - MySat interviewing Aidh Al-Qarni (the one who wrote the book: Don't Be Sad)
And this was one of the issues that were discussed with him. He mentioned that there needs to be universal opinions about issues, and more awareness programs and lessons about one's own religion. He spoke of ongoing crisis that have become widespread in the arab nation in particular, such as the family home, work and people's relationships with one another that have become to be built on favour, distrust and deceit.
He says that while people are out there advancing in technology.. we are killing each other in palastine.
His speech was full of wisdom and truth and very powerful.
And sobhanalah, one goes back and says: indeed Allah swt does not change the state of a nation until they change what is in themselves.

Well basicly we see this kind of things happenin all over the world. We as muslims must ALL be awear and be looking for a solution that gose hands in hand with the quran sunnah and other acceptable sorces of derviving hukum. We must make sure that we dont compermise in islam while searching for a way to revive the muslims and the Kalifah.

Assalam alaikum,
^ Indeed bro and subhan allah the funny this is, that we do have a solution (islamic shariah ie islamic state) yet the means of implementation is a tiresome, long, rough road! The state and mindset of many individual muslims really is not helping.
How much Longer can this ummah wait? People really need to wipe the dust off themselves and RISE for Islam?
We must make sure that we dont compermise in Islam
lol bro that doesnt aound right. what do you mean?

BUMP!
In the light of the Khilafah Conference 2008 (http://www.sydneymuslimyouth.com/smyforum/showthread.php?t=4147)- Make sure you ALL watch this video inshallah; and provide your thoughts and comments.
The necessity of attending events such as the big KC on the 19th of July Inshallah is well indicated in the video! :upset: Better see you all there inshallah.. the ummah needs YOU!

You dont have to 'wait', rather be out there at the fore- struggling for the return of ALL returns. (yes, the return of all returns!).
Rather your question should be "what can i do to catalyse the process? wat should we do from here?"
^ answer that Q insh'allah ya ikhwaan
Insha'allah bro sayfuAllah & Indispensible muslim insha'allah we'll see you both at the Kcon (as in.. the brothers will see you ;) )!

Turn that frown upside down, channel that emotion into intellectual energy and get focused and get busy. MashaAllah the video does serve as a painful reminder of just bits and pieces of how we got here and what the reality is now, and we know that is just a modest reflection of the damage that has been done.
Like sis Rassila put forth earlier, we must turn this question of 'for how much longer' to 'what can I do now to change this?'
So dear bros and sisters, sitting behind your laptops or computers, clicking around this humble SMY, what can we do to change the Ummah's circumstance? What can you do to be part of this process that requires every single one of us to partake in? (Oh...it's a big task at hand, we can't let just a few carry this burden!)
=)
Wassalaam,
Sis Dhkr.
