Salamu alaykum, hmm im not sure how to explain this. basically im 16 years old and studying IT in tafe. now i used to use computers around 4-5 years ago and use to be good until around 1-2 years ago when i started with all the bad stuff online (not pornography) but scamming (alot of money), infecting (second ever msn worm around 20 thousand people) and hacking people's computers (im basically a hacker/security guy). now i have basically gotten over all this and i try to always repent to allah but fell he will not forgive me. i want to some how repay these people but cant because of money offcourse and it was a long time ago so i dont have there names or anything. mind you i have stopped doing these things now but still have the knowledge and its becoming tempting seeing as im falling deeper into my course (network security). im not happy from the things ive done and i want to ask allah for his forgivness and to keep me away from these things. give me some ideas on how to keep away from these things. may allah reward you all.

Salams,

Inshallah a counsellor will be on their way.
However, for knowledge seeking reasons, i was wondering... what made you do all that? what was your motive and what would you get out of it?

subhan allah, sorry if these questions are intrusive, im intrigued.. the capabilities of a 16 year old.

Inshallah kheir.

:) Never 4got Allah's words of : Except those who repent and believe (in Islâmic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, for those, Allâh will change their sins into good deeds, and Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds, then verily, he repents towards Allâh with true repentance. (Al-furqan:70-71)

And the hadith by Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.) They (the Prophet's companions) said, 'Not even you, O Allah's Apostle?' He said, "Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me." So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah." (Al-Bukhari)

Allah is always there-dont waste a second ;)

Goood Night..and Salams

Assaam alaikum halo junkie...

Thanks for your patience and your post.
I am a psychologist so i hope that is clear that i am a counsellor on the forum and im providing sincere, truthful advice.

Alright, first of all, you have done a good job in getting over that addictive world of the net and all that comes along with it. MashAllah wa Alhamdulilah

In response to your question regarding the fact that you feel like Allah is not forgiving you. Do not fear Allahs mercy.
If you truly repent to a sin , no matter how huge it is, and you ask Allah for forgiveness and you try to keep away from repeating the sin then you must believe that Allah has forgiven you inshAllah.

Otherwise you would be doubting his ability, power and mercy astagfirrullah. Remember "inna Allahu ghafurun raheem".

So have hope that Allah is the forgiver and inshallah forgives the sincere repenters.
I would actually like to know, what have you been doing so far to keep away from you past acts because it means its actually working for you?

I will add more iA once you let me know.

Faith.
