Maybe you could send out your resume to companies in your area that deal with IT.

With it send a cover note stating that you understand that although positions may not be available at the moment if the company wouldnt mind keeping your resume on file.

Sometimes when companies are looking to employee they will go thru their list of kept resumes b4 they advertsie.

Its just one way to get your foot in the door.

Keep trying and like sister Ras said keep with the dua for dua is the weapon of the believer.

Also if you are not sure if this is what you want to do, you could also make salah istkihara.

Inshallah all works out for the best.

With that, try to follow it up as much as you can. Call or visit the actual place to see how things are going in regards to what you've applied for.

This shows them that you really want the job and that you're dedicated.

Just a quick thought.. what part of IT are you mainly in?

If maintainance and fixing computers.. why not try starting on your own?

All you need is an IBN number, a business card and a weekly newspaper ad. Once things start going and moving, you're realise there's money and you're beginning to expand.

Just a thought sorry if it's not just the right one

as salm u alaikum!

I know a few people who came from overseas and in order to get the permanent residency they did a course in cookery, because it is much easier that way. You couild try working as a chef for a few years to get the PR and then transfer to IT.
