"Your Lord has commanded that you shall not worship (anyone) but Him and to be good to the parents. If either or both of them reach old age with you, say not to them (so much as) 'Ugh' nor chide them, and speak to them a generous word. And lower for them 'the wings of humility' out of mercy; and pray; 'O my Lord! Have mercy on them as they brought me up (when I was) little.'" (17:23-24)

Ummm....nice mummy song.....ahem....ahem.....juz joking:Dbiggrin:
I used to sing Sami Yusuf's mummy song back in the days,it was half in English half in Arabic, but had way to many instruments, so then I moved onto Ahmed Bukhatir's mummy song, and my mum was like "huh? what are u singing??" so I told her as long as she can hear the "Ya Ummi" in it, she can just pretend like she understands the rest and now, now this song.....hmmmm........
Luv this song 2.
Ya Ummi" in it, she can just pretend like she understands the rest and now, now this song.....hmmmm........

^^Of course you would! Imagine not growing up with a mum and knowing how much everbody loves having one!
Imagine going to school on the first day and seeing everybody's mum kiss them goodbye and wave at them.
Imagine hearing about how one girl's mum fixed her clothes when she tore them.
Imagine seeing a mum come to school and give their child their lunch that they forgot at home.
Imagine seeing a mother cry out of happiness for something their child achieved knowing that you have no mother to be happy for you
And imagine in western countries where people celebrate mothers day (as though this makes up for the other 364 days) how they go on and on about special mothers and how much we all love them!
Subhana Allah the list goes on and on!
May Allah have mercy on those who have lost their mothers and fathers and may He reward them for enduring this great trial!
