With regards to privacy, all posts are anonymous and no one knows who is posting so you are safe in that regard.

The reason we encourage having it in public is so that other brothers and sisters can benefit as they may have similar circumstances but don't feel comfortable enough to actually speak about it.

However, if you feel that perhaps you may give so many details that people may suspect who it is then maybe it's wiser in private.

Alternatively, you can always have it in private regardless, don't let anything stop you :)
