I wanna know how a person can remove ongoing thoughts from their mind. coz it leads to lack of concentration and focus and ive heard of quite a few people who also at times cant control thought to concentrate on the things they need to achieve

Yes, its for myself. and whatever advice you give will be useful for many who have same problem.
Say for example you have an aim. That is do really well at uni, or memorise quran or write a book etc etc. To achieve that aim not only do you need to be motivated but you also need to be focused yeh.
But one thing that stands in the way is uncontrolled thoughts and worries that obstructs the concentration. So i wanna know a way to place those thoughts on stand by so that i can focus on my aim or task at hand..

Firstly have a book handy, where you always write ming bogging thoughts in it. With problems then possible solutions. Once its all written down; your head will feel less burden and busy. So its abit like an emptying process. So you have a task you need to complete. The secret to motivation is remembering your objective or purpose for doing that particular thing.
SO the secet after that is to...
GO BACK to where you came from
Ask yourself: What is MY purpose in life??
(No matter what the task is)
To worship ONLY ONE god.
Wallahi.. your thoughts unite- and focus.
The worthless stuff you think about is filtered out.
The ONE task at hand is focused on.
To please your ONE and only creatOR
Because youve reminded yourself that nothing else matters.
And so you focus & distractions become SO unpalatable.
This works for some peoples. totally worth a try ;)

This takes training, it is not as simple as saying I want to concentrate and so I need to block everything else of because this is the final objective not the inital step.
If there is something heavy on you mind then find someone to talk to let it ALL out and I don't mean over the internet rather I mean face to face, personal contact nothing will ever beat it. (Maybe a sister of yours or a brother or a good friend etc)
If it is the issue of not being able to think cause of the enviroment once again TRAINING. Let the walls of your house come down on you (metaphorically ofcourse) just sit there and thik of the topic and not of what is happening around you.
