i need help

i have recently started to work at supre.
As r part of this job my uniform is wat is in stock in the store im not comfortable wearing wat i have to but i dnt no wat to tell my manager.
should i quit or should i talk to my manager.
he is very understanding but he stares at me when im putting out new stock up on the high shevles.
he does scare me abit and touches me when ever he can or when we r alone, this happens mostly in the store room.

im glad to hear that you have quit your job! If you are made to wear a uniform that you are not comfortable in, and you dont trust your workmates and boss then its best that you leave and find something more suitable and safer for you. Otherwise, you can also make a complaint to management or even external agencies like HREOC regarding uniform.

It is absolutely unacceptable that any man should touch you or make you feel uncomfortable at work or anywhere else.

If any sisters or brothers face a situation where they are made to feel uncomfortble like this then they should report the incident to first of all management/supervisor, and if that doesnt help then they should make a formal complaint to the human rights and equal opportunity commission (www.hreoc.gov.au).

it is absolutely important that you don't put up with this, even if you are fearful of losing your job. No one has the right to make you feel this way, or touch you without your permission!

This is for all who may have faced a similar situation! It is against the law and you shouldn't put up with it!

I will put up a post about sexual harassment soon and i urge every one to read through it and learn about your rights!

And i hope this can be an example for other young women who have or may face a similar situation.
