Alsalam alaykum
When catching on to a jama'a prayer thats already in progress..
1) If your praying dohr salah (inaudible) for example, and you catch onto the THIRD rukaa, can you read a small surah after the fatiha or not knowing that the imam is doing only fatiha since, the congregation has already read small surahs in the previous 2 rukaas which were missed?
Considering we a) cant hear the imam, reading seperate to him b) need to make up 2 rukaa's after anyway.
2) If you catch onto the FOURTH rukaa, do the juloos..get up do 2 more rukaas.. go down, do a another juloos (making it 3 rukaas) - then make one more final rukaa, with a 3rd/final juloos. That makes it 3 JULOOOS/SITTINGS in ONE salah. Is that somehow incorrect?
3) If you catch onto the 3rd/4th rukaa, during the juloos (Sitting position) for tashahud and ibrahimiyya - can you say the tahayat only without the ibrahimmiya (considering you know that the imam/followers are reading that now. But you yourself, have only prayed the first half of the salah thus far?
If there is ikhtilaf in the matter from the a'imma then i mostly want to hear from the hanafi madhab.
