Marying a person who's ABOUT to stop drugs - has not yet

I am interested in marrying a man who i know takes illegal drugs. He has advised that he intends to stop this addiction but so far this has not happened.

Can you please advise what you think i should do?...Should i be patient and give him time or should I advise him that i am no longer interested in marriage with him?.

My advice to you sister is the advice of the best advisor the prophet mohammad (pbuh) in which he says marry your daughters to some one with manners and religion and he also says go with the one with religion you'll succeed.

And sister someone that takes drugs is far away from manners and religion and your advice to some one in the same situation would be no, and if it is your daughter you will obviously say no. and she you do this for Allah's sake and Allah will send you someone better.

And Allah knows better
