i need help

i used to go 2 skool with this guy and i used to talk to him on the fone, for at least 2 years, but then i broke it off becoz i started to come back to the religion.

i sometimes pick up the fone to dial his number to start talking to him again but i dont want to i just cant help it. i cant stop thinking about him.

please help me i dont know what to do. i dont want to do haram. i dont want 2 go back to that life! please help me

May Allah reward you for leaving something for the sake of Allah.

Sister you must remain strong and keep patient.

Although it may seem very hard and uncontrollable. You do have control over your behaviour. Feelings and emotions are harder to control. But it is important that you direct your feelings to behaviour that is halal and healthy for you.

what does that mean?

Well, it is important to direct your energies as a young person to healthy activity such as sports, halal social activities, study, work, and so on.

If there is no possibility of marriage, than any insignificant interaction between a strange man and woman is not permissible.

so it is important that you remain strong, and believe in your own capabilities. You said that "i just cant help it". In fact, you can!

Allah has given us the ability to control our behaviour and make decisions. Think about why you stopped talking to him and what will happen if you continue talk. How will that make you feel?

If you forget about the short-term pleasure you may have, and focus on long-term benefit - you will realise that its not worth it after all.
